Q. Why should we use Chocolate Euphoria?
We are a business operating a highly professional service, so to us it is important that we offer a fantastic product based on a great service and value for money we also have the flexibility to work with you and will do our utmost to accommodate all of your needs. We also personally attend your event.
Q. How do we make a booking?
Firstly give us a call on 0845 6189710 or email us at sales@chocolate-euphoria.co.uk to make sure that we are available on date that you want us. (Please note that we do have 'peak' times so it is in your best interest to book as soon as possible). We can then discuss what your needs are and to try to exceed your expectations. We can then let you have all the necessary paper work and your quotation if different to one of our specified packages. Once we have received your booking instruction, we will confirm your date via e-mail and then issue you with an invoice for a deposit. The deposit will be 25% of the total cost. (Please note that this will be a non refundable deposit.) We will require payment in full 21 days prior to your event for which an invoice will be sent in advance.
Please note that we will hold your booking as provisional and issue you with a deposit invoice, which will be payable within 7 days from acceptance of booking by email. If payment of deposit is not received within 21 days, we will cancel your provisional booking and make your requested date available on a first come, first served basis.
Q. Will I have to pay a delivery charge?
No! Our quoted price will include travel to and from your venue, within 30 miles from our base although anything over will be subject to a charge of 10p per mile extra. (We always require a safe and secure place to park our vehicles, if we have to park in public car park or in a hotel that charges then, sorry, these will have to be paid by the hirer).
Q. Do I need an attendant?
Yes! Our price is fully inclusive of us attending your event, to set up, ensure all food hygiene is adhered to, ensure your event runs smoothly and close down the fountain once the hire has finished giving you one less thing to worry about!
Q. Do you use fresh chocolate for each rental?
Yes! We will never recycle chocolate from a previous rental. If you have any chocolate left over at the end of your hire, with prior notice we can save the chocolate for you.
Q. I have heard that Chocolate Fountains are un-hygienic and may harbour diseases?
Yes again this can be very true, this why we are so strict on hygiene and food safety, we supervise the operation to ensure that the fountain is used correctly, it may be a bit of pain to some, but we always stop double dipping, we always use fresh ingredients, the machines are steam cleaned after every event.
Q. How does the fountain work?
The chocolate is warmed up and once it reaches its optimum temperature it will travel to the top tier via a central column. Once the top tier becomes full the chocolate will start to cascade down to the next tier, which is slightly bigger. This procedure continues until the chocolate has reached the lower tier and then you have your fountain. The chocolate will look like a veil or curtain to which your guests can then select a dip and enjoy........!
Q. How long does the chocolate last for?
We supply unlimited chocolate for the number of guests at your event. We will add additional chocolate if and when required. The fountain itself will run for approx 3-4 hours. There would not be a problem with the fountain lasting for the entire evening as the fountain is temperature controlled to stop the chocolate from solidifying.
Q. Can the fountain be used outdoors?
In some cases it is possible but this would need to be looked into for the specific event and would incur a further charge. We would need additional equipment and a marquee of some kind as sadly the fountain is unable to operate in the open air. The air temperature plays an important part in the smooth operation of the fountain. If you are planning to hold your event in a marquee that is OK, but the site must be level and solid. Wind also has to be considered as we would not want your fountain to be blown over. Insects can also be attracted to the fountain. Q. Are the dipping items included?
Yes! Our price is fully inclusive of dipping items unless otherwise requested.
Q. What do you provide?
We provide an attendant, fountain, dips, skewers, napkins and table decorations. We can discuss further requirements and themes if required.
Q. What chocolate do you use?
We use only the finest belgian chocolate; we do not and will not use cheap chocolate.
